About Me
As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, I’ve been providing therapy to adolescents and adults since 1982, when I earned my Master’s in Social Work from Louisiana State University. I began my career at Central Louisiana State Hospital, working with mental health patients, and later provided treatment to individuals struggling with chemical dependency, along with support for their families, at Rapides Chemical Dependency Services.
In 1990, I transitioned into full-time private practice in Alexandria, where I was fortunate to receive mentorship and further develop my clinical skills. In 2017, I founded Alexandria Counseling LLC. As the owner, my mission is to support and develop highly trained clinicians who offer therapeutic services to individuals and families. I strive to create a warm, welcoming, and inviting environment for both clinicians and clients, while maintaining a commitment to excellent clinical care.
