About Me
Alice Harper, LCSW
I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Social Work from Louisiana College and my Master’s degree
in Social Work from LSU. Over the years, I have had the privilege of working in both nonprofit
and outpatient mental health settings, where I developed a deep commitment to supporting the
emotional well-being of others.
I am especially passionate about working with girls and women ages 10 and older who are
navigating challenges such as anxiety, depression, mood disorders, trauma, and life transitions. I
also have a special interest in supporting individuals and families affected by adoption, foster
care, and kinship care. Additionally, I enjoy working with individuals struggling with
perfectionism, high levels of stress, and the demands of balancing life’s many responsibilities.
My therapeutic approach is rooted in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and I also offer
spiritually integrated CBT for those who request it. I am trained in Trust-Based Relational
Intervention (TBRI®) and Basic Trained in Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), allowing me
to support clients with practical tools for healing, emotional regulation, and trauma recovery.
Above all, I strive to create a safe, welcoming space where clients feel seen, heard, and
empowered to heal, grow, and move forward with hope.
