I’m a Provisionally Licensed Professional Counselor in Louisiana with a passion for helping children ages 3–12 feel safe, supported, and understood. I earned my bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a minor in Human Development and Family Sciences from Louisiana Tech University, and my master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, where I received specialized training in play therapy. I’m currently working toward full licensure and my Registered Play Therapist credential.
I work with kids navigating challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, behavioral concerns, family transitions, peer issues, low self-esteem, and developmental regression. My approach is child-centered, with play therapy as my primary modality—giving children a natural, effective way to express themselves and work through difficult emotions. I also incorporate techniques from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, sandtray therapy, EMDR, and Trust-Based Relational Intervention to support healing and strengthen relationships.
I believe that with the right support, every child has the ability to grow, heal, and thrive. I aim to walk alongside families in this process—providing a nurturing space for children and equipping parents and caregivers with tools to foster connection and resilience at home.
